This Blog Is Written by a Human

I pledge that no prose in my blog is written by AI. This isn't a statement against AI in principle. In fact at the time of writing this I use ChatGPT and Claude on a daily basis for all sorts of different tasks. This pledge applies to the blog's prose, but any code snippets shown may have been written with assistance from AI as I see no reason not to utilize a useful tool where appropriate. As much as I find these tools helpful, at its core a blog is meant to be a window into the thoughts of a human being. If you wanted to read LLM output you would just go write the prompt yourself.

At least for the foreseeable future, a blog written by an LLM has no meaning and no soul. I may use AI tools to help me design things or even to help me think about ideas in a different way. However, when I write a post on this blog I pledge that it will always be my own words with nothing copied from an LLM's output.
